Anyone know of a source

for a trailer hitch for an MB. Would like to put one on one of the 190D's to pull my little fishing boat. Boat and trailer are under 500 pounds, don't need anything elaborate, class I, light duty.

Thanks,
Jim

Google produced this: http://www.etrailer.com/products.asp?model=190+Class&category=hitch&year=1984&make=Mercedes-Benz&t1=&h=e&image1.x=12&image1.y=4

From a little research, it seems that Da'Lan is the only aftermarket manufacturer. Pretty common brand and probably available locally. I would be very cautious about who installed it. I have seen the handiwork of some real butchers.

Thank you all

I have ordered one from www.etrailer.com; pricey piece of tin, $100 more than the class II that I ordered for the bride's Buick. Also ordered a nifty light module; takes trailer light power directly from the batt, saving the oh so sensitive wiring harness on the MB.

Have no fear of a butcher job installation, will do it myself.
