hooking up a fattywagon electrotherm to gp relay

Since i bought a fattywagon electrotherm ive decided to hook it up inline on my 87 300D, in the place of where the pre-filter goes.

i would like it to power on along with the glowplugs, where do i put the power wire? i already have it inline with a pre-filter after it and the ground connected to the chassis. Just trying to figure out were to plug the power cable

You only want the heater to come on for a few seconds and then shut off??

Why not run a seperate switch to keep it on longer?

I didnt think of that, im thinking of just plugging it straight to the battery with a light switch connected in between. Well lowes is closed for the night so ill just go buy a switch in the morning.

Ok i connected it straight to the battery as many recommended on some grease forums. With an on/off toggle switch. After installing all the wires i started the car and flipped the switch. In that very instant i touched the heater and it was warm.

Cleaned up the vo/diesel off the floor (a good 4-5mins) and i touch the heater again....it was hot!! and it burnt my finger! Dont know the exact temp my next step is to put a thermostat to see what temps im getting.

But for now i have 90%vo with 10%diesel and the inline heater from fattywagon thins it out pretty well. You can even see how thinner it is in the clear pre-filter when you shake it.

I know alot of pre-filters but it was the only way to hook it up together
