engine runs after shut off and throttle adjustment
Hi, I need some help. I have 300SD (turbo) and recently I lent my car to my friend and he made some "adjustment" to get more power. As a resualt - all throttle system component out of standard. No power, car engine shut off 30-45 cek. after key turn off. Is anyone can help how to adjust throttle linkage component system ( quick chart) just the most important steps. I am not a mechanic, but I know a little bit about car engine. The reason is I can wait till monday to meet my mechanic, I have to go Monday morning. Thank you, anyone for help.

Check all the vacuum line. there are a lot in the vicinity of the throttle linkage and one may have been jolted loose. If the lines are old, removing them may have also introduced cracks, causing a leak. This will require some diagnositic work with a vacuum pump to test for leak.
