I think you're reading that as "TD" instead of "DT", the difference being the "TD" is the wagon that has the self-leveling suspension in the back as opposed to the "DT", which is a diesel sedan with a turbo. The propper designation for the latter is actually just "D" but some ppl prefer "DT". I asked this question earlier and it was sugested to me that the only problem might be the engine mount arms but they can be switched out with no problem. If you're going to be swapping trannies, however, the SD has an electronic speedo sender and the D a mechanical. Other than that, if you can swap the tailhousings on the trannies, I think they're the same too.
