Surging when floored at 75+ uphill
When the throttle is floored enough to hit the kickdown switch my car surges when going up a grade at 75mph+. Lift back just back from the switch trigger point and all is fine. The surge rhythm is quick..almost feels like overboost protection switch clicking on off. 90 sdl.
Is this normal?

I think it sounds like over boost protection too. Check to be sure your wastegate hose isn't plugged.

It sounds to me like a clogged fuel filter ...or a air leak in your fuel system.

I will check for leaks but I doubt it as it does it on both veggie and diesel w/ separate filters/lines.
Anyone know if the motor runs max boost if the kickdown switch is depressed...after it is above 3rd gear range.
