Locking System and the vaccuum pump for this
My locks havent been working for a while because of two bad elements that I never got around to fixing. Im finally gonna go ahead and change out the 2 of them.
But I still have another problem....the vaccuum pump associated with this was disconnected to prevent it from overworking and when I went to connect it today it wouldnt run. Part of the problem with this is that the pump is connected via a three prongs on the pump and a plastic connector that hold the three wires together. That plastic connector has completley rotted away leaving me to guess which wires go to which prong. I guess my question is if I pull the pump out what is the best way to check its functionality? In addition, where can I find that little plastic piece that holds those three wires? My last question is why the hell is this piece so much more expensive for the pre-1985 ($447! in the performance products catalog) as opposed to post 1985 (only $183)? Can I use the post 1985 pumps instead (it does the same job right)? Does anyone here have a used they could sell me? Thanks for all the help.

One last thing that I forgot to mention....My front driver door wont unlock or lock? I had to use a slim jim this morning to get it open? Is this unrelated to the vaccuum locking system? WHy is it doing this?
