1979 Mercedes 300CD (Diesel) - $1900 (Ripon)

1979 Mercedes 300cd
condition: fair
fuel: diesel
odometer: 220000
title status: clean
transmission: automatic

Selling this nice 1979 Mercedes 300CD.
-220xxx on it
-ZERO blowby
-runs strong
-BRAND NEW tires all around
-starts right up
-tranny shifts good
-body is straight

***This is a great car to just get in and drive. It does need cosmetic items like finishing upholstery on the inside and items like that but overall a strong running great little car. This would either be a perfect car to get in and enjoy or use for donor parts on a car that might need odd and end pieces. Would like to get rid of by the end of this weekend

Call me for any more info!

Interesting color.

I would buy this 1987 300TD wagon if I needed a car right now. Looks good for $2500 obo (seattle area).:

The drivers seat needs to be replaced or recovered, but otherwise the car looks pretty good.

My 1987 300TD wagon was sold and my 2003 W210 E320 wagon was totaled (sheds tear).

1981 Mercedes 300D - $1200

Selling my 1981 Mercedes 300d. Interior is very nice, body is fair, but showing minimal rust in a few spots. Has Euro front and rear bumpers as well as factory rear spoiler.

Will start and run, but needs needs tune up and transmission shift adjustment/vaccum adjustment to become regular driver. Have tons of extra parts included with the car. Newer battery.

If interested, I have a full 4-speed manual transmission conversion kit also avaialble (trans, clutch parts, drive-shaft, pedal assembly, shifter, etc). Will sell those parts for $500 extra.

Smog exempt and registered through March 2019. Clear title.

$1200 obo
Chris

odometer: 148000
title status: clean

type: sedan

I hate to sell it but I am leaving the Bay Area and can't bring it with me.
It's a euro import model so the dials are in Kilometers, not miles. (238,000 kilometers is 148,000 miles.)
It also has mini-bumpers and cloth seats.
It has pretty low miles for a car its age and it drives great on the freeway and around town.
There are a few cosmetic defects, a couple of dents, (see the photos) and the windshield seals need changing out.
It needs new speakers too, but the stereo is modern (I replaced the original radio).
Recent brake job, tie rods, valves, had all fuel lines were replaced and changed out the fuel tank when I bought it about 5 years ago. Has the original tool kit. And I bought all new tires in that time. I have added about 32k kilometers on it since I bought it.
The starter is good, clutch is good, I love the car. It has been very reliable.
No, I don't want help selling it, and no, I won't negotiate a cheaper price. The car is worth it and would make a very good basis for a full restore.
I will take some more photos in the next few days. But you really have to drive it to appreciate it.

Not a diesel but it is a W126 with a hyper rare interior! (I've only ever seen one other and that one had a bench seat in the rear)

SEL doors should have switches for windows, seat heaters and recline. Those might be SEC rear seats with console switches. Or additional functions?
