I hate it when someone snaps a foto of a nice looking car, then uses it to sell one "of the same year and model"
(maybe they are too ashamed to put a picture of the real car on the listing?)
I'm certainly not going to drive a hundred miles or so in the rain then be disappointed. A picture is (can be) worth a thousand words!

it's a gray market car, (wdb123193) originally had cream beige cloth. Has the manual climate controls. Euro bumpers and lights are gone, as is much of the original interior. But for $1100 a rust free euro Td with a california title is worth it for me. I've got a line on some euro wagon bumpers, and the headlights aren't hard to find. Doesn't smoke, very little blow by (doing the oil cap test). Seller said bad trans, but it runs and shifts fine (other than a clunk when it down shifts coming to a stop). Started cleaning it up this weekend, will get it road worthy and drive it for a bit and decide what to do with it.

A real steal. 300sd on ebay $3495 Tire just needs some air.

First things I spotted was the tel#. I keep a running list of dealers telephone numbers who persistently list as owners on CL.
One of my pet peeves is that CL allows this to the extent that it is now almost one third of all cars in the Owners section are listed by Dealers, some outright open and showing paper plates others listing sometimes several cars at a time all at the same location.

That 116 may belong to the seller "legally" but so was the E500 he sold on eBay and the more than 250 other cars he has sold over the past year or two.
This one has brand new plates on it too.
All we can see it the back seat has lost its horsehair. buyer beware!
