I want that. I've been thinking about W124s lately. That one looks super nice. I'd trade my 4 speed 300d/240d for it.

If you are thinking about the 190D above, that is a W201, not a W124. Yes they look similar in many ways. I had an '85 190D with the 2.2 and 5 speed, it was a fun car. Kinda like an underpowered sports car (if you can imagine what that is like). They do handle quite well, and the 5 speed makes all the difference in the world. Someone here should buy it. I would love to do so myself, but I have six cars on my insurance now, and don't need any more......Rich

surely is a low price.
drivers seat looks nice too!
If it wasn't red and I had room for it I'd be all over that thing to swap my good OM603 motor into
Its gotta be using oil at that mileage.

Looking at that listing again, I think it might be a scam. Price is too low, it doesn't show any photos of the odometer reading, and it looks waaay to clean to be an almost 300K mile Benz.

It's a well written listing, but usually if something is too good to be true, it is.

I know there are scammers who place ads for cars they don't own, using really low prices and when you show up they have a gun and demand your wallet, its happened before. So many bad people these days and this BLUE state doesn't allow open carry, they want only criminals to have guns
Anyhow, I sent a msg to the lister and will see what they say. You know, red paint is one of the worse in the sun, it fades really quickly so either that is an old pic or a car that as been garaged most of its life.
I really could use another project car like a hole in da head!

You can still get a concealed carry permit in most places in this state, though

red mercedes GONE!

I asked the seller where to meet for a look-see and said I was interested n buying, no response. Then the following day the listing was cancelled by the seller. Might well have been a real deal?

Thanks sixto
So clean the seller has an IP resting on the front seat of his vehicle!
I don't need one but could have used a good turbo a few years ago when mine was starting to suck oil thru the bearings.
