79 300SD Window Power Location

Ok I have looked at the wiring diagram for the 116 300SD and cannot seem to locate the location of the power supply for the power window switches. I have power for the passenger front and driver rear but not for the other two. If a knowlegable person would point me in the right direstion It would really be appreciated.

Also is there a source for the label that is supposed to be inside the cover to the fuse box? Mine is gone.

Thanks,
Doug

I should have added that I have tested for power @ the connectors under the console cover.

Thanks
Doug

it sounds like you have a bad fuse

MB makes the windows diaganol on the same fuse. I can photocopy my 82 fuse label for you if it is the same. I would check all the fuses, or just replace them all and see if it fixes the window. brb with a fuse # off my 82...

DougO-

If you go to W116.org, you will find the service manual. It has the fuse box layout and , I think, the wiring diagrams .

Rick,
Well yes the wiring diagram is there I have a copy and printed it out on 11X17 paper so I could see it better. The diagram that is missinig is diagram 8 which has the power windows layout on it and which the troubleshooting manual has listed also. So whenever they made the original manual into PDF's they neglected to do that one.

Thanks for the replies I will find and fix this issue as well as a couple others one way or another.

Doug
