Question Troubleshooting: Kicking Transmission 300D

I've been able to set the modulator error valve to shift smoothly w/o slipping, but I still can't eliminate / fix the following:

1. When moving stick from Reverse to Drive, it comes with a fair sized kick while engaging into the gear, or when idling for a while and moving straight from Park to Drive. But it never kicks when moving into Reverse, whether from Park to Reverse or Drive to Reverse.

2. While driving it does not switch into 4th unless I fully release the pedal or reach a speed where the engine is going at 3200RPM or more. 1-2 and 2-3 switches around 2200-2500RPM.

3. Although the shifting is smooth while firm at the same time, I still get the head rocking sort of shifting. Most heavily at 1-2 shift.

4. When driving in 4th (D Position) and I move the stick to (3 Position) it does not downshift and make use to the engine brakes, but it does downshift to 2 when I move the stick to (2 Position).

1987 300D Turbo.

Any ideas, apprechiated. Cheers.
