If anyone needs parts in the Denver area

I spent about 5 hours tracking used parts down for my car yesterday and thought I would share my findings in Denver.

Eurasia Auto parts has a few 603 diesel and Mike is very easy do deal with and knows Mercedes vehicles well. They included shipping in the price of the parts. (303)922-8396

I did find a parts place in the northwest with a great mail-order system and a lot of benz diesels also. Aurora auto salvage in WA. (206)-524-8700.

I did find two pick a part yards that said they have 123 body benzes. Couldn't tell me if they were diesel of not.

Sidewinder Auto Parts
5380 Brighton Blvd
Denver (303) 293-8610

Pull and save auto parts
11602 E 33 Ave (303) 365-2001
Aurora, CO 80010 - 1425

Hope this helps.

The two you listed are very good sources. Last time I was at sidewinder they had a gasser W126 and a W115 300D.

Colorado auto & parts is likely the best source for MB parts. I've counted 9 MBs of different models at one time and they rotate 80% of the import stock every few weeks.

Pull and save auto parts is second in my book as the best local source for MB parts. You CAN'T beat the ease of working there. Concrete floor under all the cars, all cars are 2' off the ground, carts and flat rollers to haul your tools and parts and a free-to-use cherry picker to pull engines.

If I lived closed to Pull-n-Save I might frequent it more. But $1 (yeah, big deal, but still...) to get in and they couldn't even tell me if they had any 126 mercedes before they let me in. That particular day, they didn't. I don't think I'll be driving an hour down there anymore unless I know for sure they have something I could use.

I drive 2.5 hours and can always call the trip worthwhile( I do own a jeep too )I figure it is a lottery of parts. You can always find something.

Yikes! Not for me. But if you are going to be driving for 2+ hours, let me know if you find a good palomino drivers seat .
