I have used Enviro-Safe for more than 5 years with excellent results. Vechicle list includes Benz, VW, Honda, Ford and GMC. I buy it direct from the factory by the case as it is not available in my area. Freeze 12 is sold locally without questions however, I am very pleased with Enviro-Safe and see no reason to change.

before the rules

we have tinkered with air conditioners for years.... and there
are always ways for a red neck country boy to make something work...
back before all the rules the way we use to fix an a/c system
was to connect the can of freon on one side and disconnect the hose from the other side at the compressor....(with the car off) Now turn on the freon or whatever.... and the whole system will fill with the gas and air will be pushed out the line that is disconnected at the compressor....In a few moments freon will begin coming out the disconnected line...(cracked open) Now tighten it back in place.... Start the car and continue filling the system with gas....this is how you do it when you dont have a vacuum....

the reason for vacuum is to remove the air... and you just removed the air by replacing it with gas.... Yes, you did let some escape into the atmospher...

welcome to redneck 101

Freon 12

Its available in Mexico. Take a drive across the border, go to any auto supply store buy a few cans and the tool to install it. Pop the hood, and a cerveza, then install the freon, just like you did a decade ago.

Drive back into the Socialist Democratic Republic of America, and just don't mention it to the Gestapo at the border station.
