I like the taillight

and the liberal use of great stuff foam.
it looks like a lot of work with plywood and angle brackets... on the plus side, he could hang a working disco ball inside and plug it into the other outlet.

Dunno who Red-Green is but the Wakaba mark on this car confuses me more then his A/C setup.

It looks like an old American car in an American parking lot... so what's up with that?!

I got mine from ebay. 6500W for $900.

But the real question is: What refrigerant is that thing running?

Is that gegerator quiet enough to run in a quiet neighborhood all night long?

No. But I don't like my neighbors, so I'm really hoping for some good hurricanes this year.

This thread has everything to do with diesel MB's. If you have an auto 240D the compressor sucks like 1/2 your hp. So this is a solution...

Wow...that'd be 34 hp left for "driving" (or rolling quickly perhaps)

I remember when my car had working A/C many a year ago, it didn't seem to sap that much off overall, but it did kill takeoff acceleration a bit. Now that I don't even have a belt to my A/C anymore, no worries there!
