Black is fine in CT. In the south during the summer, it's a killer.

Man this sure is the truth. I bought a black Ford 30 years ago and when summer came the car was a killer after sitting in the sun all day. I even suffered bad 2nd degree burn once when I laid my arm on the roof, still have the scar.

I'd be willing to sacrifice comfort for looks. Tint the windows real dark and keep the sunroof open when you park it. The SDL is dark blue with a black interior and even on 100 degree days it isn't to bad, you just have to keep a window or the sunroof open a bit.
