W126 Manual CD Can't Read - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Hi, ya'll.

I have ordered a few of the W126 manuals on CD and I can't get any of them to work properly on my computer. It tells me to download Acrobat Reader 4.0 but I already have Reader 7.0 and Acrobat Professional 7.0. At one point, did download and install 4.0 but that screwed up all the rest of my Acrobat stuff and the CD still didn't work.

Has anyone ever encountered this before? If so, is there a fix?

search the cd for a file called avick it is an html document double click it, this will open the program

Thanks, It worked. I don't know why the autorun won't work on this one but like all computers everywhere, they will be quirky and I don't want to dedicate my life to finding the problem.
