Took the sensor out, cleaned it with electronic cleaner and then washed out the MAF housing. Also helps a bit.
Anybody have suggestions to test if air is leaking IN to the lines?
how do I get the injectors out and where to test?
is this a DIY project on a not too cold/ rainy saturday?

I saw a tool in some catalog Fastlane Phil sent me to test them, but not really sure if I need one.

That would be difficult for the shadetree mechanic.

Out of what? A 606? You need a special tool. A very thin walled socket basically. Where to test? How about a diesel shop that will rebuild injectors? That is what I did. Taking it out is not that bad. Loosen the metal lines and they come out easily. After that, take it to a truck shop that will rebuild injectors.
