Screw the mechanic

Yes, everyone makes mistakes, but if he's stupid enough to deny he was at fault on a serious, serious mistake, if it's clear he was at fault, I would drive there in person so he couldn't hang up or get rid of me so quickly. To make a mistake is one thing, to deny it or not learn from it, is quite another.

Be a man. Make a personal visit to the mechanic. Stick the problem in his face and make him smell it, enough so he can't deny he was the problem.

who ever did the brakes on my car before i got the car sure as hell never worked on a MB with ATE calipers.. the spring clip was above the pins.. it should of been held in with the pins.. nope.. just sitn there letting the pads catch on the rotor and make a nice clank every rotation of the rotor.. at all speeds.. for the last 5 months..
