vacuum diagrams
You can either pay the membership for alldata online or find a shop willing to print them out. Alldata has very easy to read diagrams.

I have the manuals at home - and of course I am away from home- Hoping to find someone on the board who could save me some $ All data is 50$ to join I think- I could put that towards some more vacuum parts dont like being cheap but...... Gotta that disease - Fundzallow Peace: |
I have an 81 TD. However, in that year there were turbo and non-turbo models, which have different vacuum setups. Mine is a turbocharged one. Which engine do you have?
This thread should be of help, however: http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/diesel-discussion/105297-vacuum-diagrams.html |
howdy MBeige:
Thanks for the reply: Actually I checked out of frustration and this is an 82 I believe build date 4/82 I tried these vacuum diagrams - for some reason I cannot get a clear print off of them or print them whole from this I ponied up the money for the alldata info - figured I have invested this much time - who knows how much longer I have to spend on this project Peace: |

Thanks a bunch - I think this is the second time you have come to the rescue Looks like what I have - cant see where your vent line to the cabin is after all that trouble - now the 300 TD is purring like a kitten - has better pickup - shifts much better and the doors work - still the vacuum shut down needs to be replaced Im sure I'll post when I tackle that THanks again all Peace: Trajan |
4th photo.
The black plastic vent line enters the cabin between the brown IP shutoff to ignition line and the yellow based colored door lock lines. When you change out the IP shutoff valve make sure you do it correctly. I made a post for this. Do a search when your ready for the job. doing it wrong will ruin the engine. It's not hard just certian things must be ensured to know you did it right. Dave |
