I know Gdl (http://www.gdl-online.com/) will get you a cruise amp for about $200. So will ********. Check PN 0035458632X. Anybody tried one of these? Just curious.

GDL is the known source for rebuilding the CC amps. They have a good reputation.

Yeah, I've heard nothing but good about them. But it's always good to have options. For example, let's say you've re-soldered your unit already, GDL won't take it back. I'm sure ******** wouldn't know any better though.

As if it matters for me, as mine won't come out for anything, the bolt won't budge, it's completely stripped. Vicegrips and all won't work.
