Thumbs up Parts Hunting, going tomorrow... post up what you need

Hey all, I'm going to the yards tomorrow and Sunday so I figure I'd tell you guys as the Parts section is slow.

Most of what I see are W115, W116, W123, W124, and W126. So post up with what you need and I'll try to obtain it. My PM box is gettin to the limit so it's best here.

Gas and diesel.

Anyway, post up the small bits and I'll make my list late this evening. Please don't send me on a wild goose chase by asking then not paying or some silly parts like a No 18 603 head for $100... as we all know I'd keep it.

I need the front drivers side rubber bumper corner piece. Its bad on my parts car too! I could always use a blue dash. Cracks are OK, giant warp over the glove box is not, as I already have that. My favorite wiring harness pieces that you already know about. I need a rear passenger side window regulator that isn't cracked and bent like my two. Blue drivers side sun visor/vanity. Door broken off mine. Could always use better shifter wood, but who couldn't.
Let me know if you need any help tomorrow. I don't think my spousal apparatus has me doing anything.......which is normal......

I just realized from your AC thread. You had correct low side pressure. Somebody got their goodies finally!!

Thumbs up

blueranger - SD trans is easy, but shipping is going to be a bit high. I can give you the number of a place that sells good used stuff.

pmari - that's going to be hard. I know where a few '87 300Ds are being parted if that helps...

ray m - any pictures of that part? Manual MBs aren't too common...

Jimmy - gotcha I actually think I have some W123 wood lying about here, I have to check. I have about half of the burlwalnut to swap into my SDL

hood ornament

hood emblem/ornament for 1979 w123 240D (update: found one)

clear plastic part that frames the headlight, driver and/or passender side for 1991 w124 300e

Where is the yard located? As another poster asked, is it possible to post the phone # and have something shipped, if possible? May need a whole new engine/block for the 240C.

Two of them are I have to pull it place, and the other I've never seen a 2.4L motor there or in their stock (they know me on a first name basis ).

Those headlight things are always broken, people either smash them for a goof or age killed them. They look V E R Y different new. I'd highly recommend going that route.

If they have an older 210 on the lot, can you open the underhood fusebox (six screws) and see if there is a module on the fender side, comprising part of the fender-side of the box itself. Aluminum plate on the outside (of the fusebox) and plastic cover on the front.

It has about six electrical connectors on it. Once they're removed, the module pulls straight up and out (no hardware holds it in). The part number should be something like 210 545 04 32 (or maybe 03 32 or 02 32).

If they have one of these and will take up to $50 for it, I'll pay you shipping as well, of course, if you'll snag it for me.

Ok, thanks about the 300e stuff.

Forgot to ask for a windshield washer reservoir (plastic container and/or all the hoses, nozzles, etc) for the 240D. part # 1238690072

LMK if you have any luck with the star.

What I really need is the driver's side Palamino COUPE door panel (front door and back seat area). Just in case you run across a coupe. Thanks!
