Looking for a 300 D or Turbo D sedan for my daughter and son-in-law. Probably 78-85. They are in the army and need a reliable, safe sedan. Any ideas?? Steve

Check eBay or classifieds for Florida. From what I've seen there are plenty of them down there and most of them are in pristine condition with little or no rust.

the phone # of a guy that has (or had as of a week ago) a 300D - 1985 with 272k miles that is in excellent condition and everything works. It was a one owner car that was very well maintained. The guy wants a little much for it (US$3500)but you could make an offer. It does not have any rust and is in Warner Robins, Ga.
