pwr seat adj gearbox - reassembly problems
 

It appears the rear elevation gearbox was jammed at the end of its down position, took it apart and rotated it a bit and it works fine.

My problem is that I am unable to reassemble it, under the metal cover/shaft support hub there is a washer - which seems about the thickness keeping the metal cover from sitting flat on the plastic assy below it.

Anyone have experience with these geartrains assy ?
