Three questions

Question #1:

Since my (POS Autolite) GP's have fizzed out after 6 months of use, I decided to buy more. I've found a Bosch listed on ********AZ, but it says it is for the "fast glow" system. Is this just the name for the new style (other type aside from the old "pencil" or "series" type)?

Question #2:

Also on the same page, they have listed, "Glow Plug; Prechamber Seal Ring to Cylinder Head; Standard 2.0mm Thickness". Are these the injector crush washer seals I need to replace after doing a compression test? I just ordered a set, the only set I could find, for much more than that:

http://www.***************/search/productx.aspx?sid=5veqcmaagvihw3ikwomukgfh&makeid=800016@MERCEDES&modelid=1193565@300CDT%20123.153&year=1983&cid=22@Fuel%20%26%20Air%20System&gid=6100@Diesel%20Injector

These seals (the ones I bought) are described as "oversize 2.3mm". Is this going to be a problem?

Question #3:

What about the heat shield?

http://www.***************/search/productx.aspx?sid=5veqcmaagvihw3ikwomukgfh&makeid=800016@MERCEDES&modelid=1193565@300CDT%20123.153&year=1983&cid=22@Fuel%20&%20Air%20System&gid=6060@Diesel%20Injector%20Heat%20Shield

Do those need replacing when reinstalling the injectors?

Those rings sit under the precombustion chamber (What the injector screws into), seal the prechamber, and control how much it sticks into the engine.

The 2.3mm oversize ones are used if the head has been machined (Cut/decked/milled) and make the prechamber sit higher in the head so they don't touch the pistons.

You need the " Diesel Injector Heat Shield; At Base of Injector" for a compression test.
