Cruise control doesn´t disengage with brake tap

I resoldered the amp again, and checked for doubled up connections - I couldn't find any. Anyway, the thing still takes a dive and doesn't come back when I press the brake. I didn't solder all the IC's - they are heat sensitive, but I don't know how heat sensitive. I'm thinking a quick shot with the soldering iron won't hurt them.

So, it's good enough for now, and I'm stumped anyway. The cruise works, just I must remember to disengage it rather than stomping on the brake.

Hello Paul,

I have what may be considered the opposite situation: Cruise control is working perfect when commanded from the control arm, but wont disengage when brake is pressed. Never.

What do you think it may be? Wrong wiring or CC amplifier?

From the wiring diagram, check to see if you get +12Vdc when the brake pedal is pressed at:

Pin 8 of the Amplifier

Pin 6 of the Servo

(The copy of the diagram, on page #1 of this thread, is a little fuzzy on my computer.)
