Margaret is now 250,000

My endearing 1985 300D, Margaret, turned 250,000 miles today!! I know this is low mileage compared to the mileage of some, but I am just celebrating my girl today.

I only have 8,200 to go before 250k!

My dad's car is only 120 miles away from 272,000....wshew.

I began 2006 with about 233,000 on mine though....so I've put 9,000 miles on it in barely 6 months Pretty good! 0 repairs or issues in that time as well, aside from replacing the expansion tank and radiator....

I wish that while you read this thread the song "I'm in Love with My Car" by Queen could be playing.

I watched mine turn over 333,333 (1/3 million) a couple of weeks ago while drive across IA (I think it was IA, anyway). At my current rate, I'll hit 1,000,000 in 19 more years.
