'75 240D Radiator Adaptability Knowledge Needed.

Hokay, so the radiator on my 75 240d is a little dead. As in the core is ruined. So now I'm in the market for a new one, and am wondering what years will fit in the 75 model (115 chassis I believe). I've found several in the 78 and onwards area, but am not sure if these will fit, as they don't seem to have the oil cooler on the one side nor the channel on the other. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If you want to swing ~$400 - go with WizardCooling....Scott can build you one to fit, the way you want...

Both the 240D and the non-turbo 300D, 1977 to 1981 have the oil cooler on the side of the radiator.

75 has an all metal radiator. You should be able to get it recored at a reasonable price.

Yeah, you dont want the "upgrade" to plastic 123 radiator. The local radiator shop can boil and recore your brass 115 radiator - no sweat.

My '77 240 was an all metal radiator as was the '77 300D radiator that I put in its place. You can still buy an all metal radiator.
