window won't come up when all the way down, but will when almost all the way down

I'm sorry to post a thread, grumpy forum checkers amongst you but I swear i searched the forum. the window on my sd will not go up. but when i tap the motor with a screwdriver it will sometimes. and it'll work fine up and down after that unless you roll it all the way down. then it's stuck again.
I had the whole assembly out a week ago because it didn't work at all. i cleaned and greased the dry/rusted parts and it worked after that. only this now... quite strange. does seem like brushes, yet not. what is wrong? adjustment of the bolts in the door that hold the assembly?

Check the alignment of the bottom of your window tracks. The liner of these tracks wears and can allow the bottom of the window to come out of the track when the top of the window gets near the top of its travel.

but this happens at the bottom of its travel though. and how to explain the tap with the screwdriver-thing? could it be not enough amps going through it, only enough for the smooth bit?

and Deniss:
teeth seemed fine. no visible damage
