Whats an 84 190D 5 speed worth?

I like my 240d buit I ran across a lady that might sell me her 84 5 speed 190d 2.2 diesel.

Condition..several owners and not a rust bucket

paint is poor.... sun has whitened the clearcoat, dent in door
Interior is ok..dash is mega cracked..seats ok, carpet needs replaced
miles a 289k and original
Air works ..may need a recharge
blow by is a concern.. it will blow the oil filler cap right off the valce cover when opened.Puts out allot of blow by
I know little about the 190 motor except it looks like an aluminum head...
is that a worry item?
What sbould I be looking for. THe car runs ok but needs a clutch adjust or replace. I can barely get it into gear while standing on the pedal.

thanks for all opinions

I doubt it or people would do that instead of trying to find 123 5 speeds.

No, I believe the starter is on the opposite side on the W201

that should be a sweet car to drive and mucho miles per gal. it is worth fixing up if it can be bought right.

1000 to 2000 imho. depends on condition.
