124 300D Throttle linkage
I can't seem to find a procedure detailing how to adjust the throttle linkage on my 87 300D. I know for a fact it need to be adjusted, and i need to replace on of the push rods while I am at it. If someone can either point me to a good post, or tell me how to do it, it would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Fire wall R clip should be a approx' 11 o'clock.
The roller in the bell crank slot should rest against the slot closest to the drivers side. The STOP lever will then have enough spring travel to shut off the engine. As the throttle is opened, the roller should move across the bell crank slot to the passenger side at the start of the long side towards wide open throttle. The I/P rod should move almost immediatly the throttle is opened and continue to full throttle against the high speed stop on the I/P. The transmission cable arm should be near to touching the stop on top of the rear bell crank at rest. The cruise control rod from the rear bell crank shoud be fitted to the top arm of the front bell crank with the cruise control motor arm at 1 o'clock at rest. .
