Managed to carve out some time this WE to tinker on our new 300D. Managed to swap out the rear passenger window regulator and motor. The gear teeth on the regulator were absolutely shot. kept the motor as a spare, but nice to be able to put the window up and down. Also replaced the stereo with a new Alpine Ipod ready machine. Install was a snap, the threads on this board were certainly a help in id'ing the rats nest behind the radio. The previous owner must have self installed the unit, but did not have any power source other than the speakers? For the lif of me I did not see that there was a power source wired to the thing...and I had numerous on and off issues, had a mind of its own. Now I have a very nice new CD deck with an aux cord for the ipod controled by the deck, total cost was 200 bucks. My wife is very happy.
Still trying to figure out my AC woes, starting to think maybe it is a relay or switch somewhere based on the all of a sudden ice cold to warm air in an afternoon.
