So how hard was it to cut thru the straight pipe? Did you use a power saw or elbow grease? Were you able to use the original hangar in addition to your home made one in the rear?

When I put a muffler on my straight pipe it took about 20 min of hacksawing.

Most incredible exhaust system you'll ever see on a Mercedes diesel.

It is the most ingenious system I have ever seen.

those "straight" pipes on his 300SD.............are CYCLONE FENCE POSTS!!!

SirNik has a VERY promising future for sure.....:) IMO Incredible. You have to see it. It works good and will last forever!!!

We used elbow grease. It took a little while to cut it but not that much time. I have had much more "minor" repairs take longer. On my car the only hanger for the muffler was the ones on the rear. The next hanger was on the resonator If I remember correctly. I'll double check at lunch.
