vacuum pump outlet

does anyone know where the vac pump outlet is?

My pump check valves seem to be stuck ( air pushes in and out of vac line )
little to no vacuum so i sprayed sum wd 40 in the line and voila vac is back but it acted up again.

Sooo when i spray wd40 in the vac line where does it go after the vac pump?

Is there an outlet internal or external?

can i flush the pump with sum mild solvent to clean it or will the solvent end up in the motor?

Should i just pull it and rebuild?

thanks---Steve

oh-- 84 300 SD with newer style pump ( screws in front cover )

You might need a vac pump rebuild. I THINK that your later vac pump ehxausts into the crankcase. The early ones ehxausted into the clean side of the air filter.
