I think it will sell north of $15,000. It sure looks sweet. However, at the present time a friend of mine has told me that my next Merc needs to be a 1958 180D or 190D to cure my Ponton fever. I think he is just says that to distract me from the 1983 Euro 300D (manual) that he just snagged. (He always stumbles across the best deals)

I recall about two years ago a 1985 300TD with less than 100K went for $19,000.

price

I think the lack of a third row seat will keep the price down. This is also likely not the original owner, although all records are there. Why no pics of the engine? Hey, anybody want to swap a 190D and cash for a similar condition 300TD with third row seat?

Looks like another case of the wheels painted on the car, lug bolts, valve stem cap and all....

Whats with the picture under the front bumper showing the dirt? Also is it just me or does the panel over the acc look messed up? Might just be the light but it looks dirty and cracked...dunno. Why is it sitting so low in the rear? Looks like the car is on in the 2nd picture but it still sags. I'd be a little worried but boy is it clean. I wouldn't mind owning it myself.

My guess is $12,500

1978 300D - Somewhere around 188k miles, no reverse, no a/c, no instrument lights, sunroof only works when it's really hot outside, trying it make it more road worthy....

The front seat bolster look a little too flat. Does anyone think that the seat bolsters have been rebuilt?
