Not bad looking at all. Looks like you have to hunt down and kill the person that broke the hood ornament.

The emblem isn't too hard to find, just hope it's high quality. BTW does anyone know why I have wires running to my emblem? Kinda weird...
I just called my mechanic - so far they've adjusted the valves (yay) and the compression tested good on all cylinders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (SUPER YAY) I can't wait for them to finish! |

the miles quoted on my car (107,000) are pretty reliable, as the car has only 2 previous owners. originally the army (fort campbell, ky) and then was donated to my school (techinical school that specilizes in computers, horticulture, and automotive) they auction off cars in a sealed auction at the end of the year to help fund the automotive department, they had other cars on sale, but the mercedes caught my eye, other cars were
79 pontiac bonneville 86 lincoln towncar 94 astro van 91 chevy blazer 76 mercedes 300d cars ranged in miles, one with the least was the pontiac 79,000 to the one with the most, the blazer with 150,000. heard old benzes were reliable needed a car to get me around (still in school) and figured if i didnt like it, could always sell it to a benz enthusiast, or someone who loved old cars. but i like it (except for the fact need to get ac fixed, and vac locks dont work) and will likely keep it till it stops. hoping it will get to 250,000. so far all ive done is: new battery 79.00 new fuel and air filters 50 shifter busing replacement 24.00 but in the next few days plan to get a/c fixed, vac system checked/fixed, oil change, all that good stuff

I find out today what I get to fix with mine - I'm sitting here at work unable to focus, staring at my phone... and I thought patience was one of my virtues!
I know my A/C doesn't work - doesn't even power on. I'm hoping it's just a bad switch. |
