Fixed my mystery fluid leak
Ahaha.
I thought my 300D was dripping oil when it never did. I replaced all the fuel return lines earlier, but didn't think the one on injector five (the one with a metal plug) was a piece of rubber. I thought it was a threaded piece or was welded in... Turns out it could be replaced...and when running leaked small amounts of fuel all over back of the block..right over the TC... Replaced it, and no more mystery fluid. The diesel was dripping, picking up the grime of the engine, and displaying a really light blackish oil substance on the ground. On a good note, my fanaticism in finding it really made the bottom of my transmission clean Happy its once again a drip free Mercedes Regards, Kyle
