300D Door glass

Hey Guys Some little ***** So and So busted out the left side door windows front and rear on my 1982 300D. The question is, will all 123 sedan glass fit or only certain years. I was talking to another guy at the Yard today while hunting for replacement glass He said the glass out of the 1990 280SE would fit. sounds questionable. So what do you think?

Salvage yards are the way to go.
Thanks to these outfits!!!
BUT make sure that you request windows that have no rust at the metal bracket that attaches to the bottom of the glass.
No rust and good glue. If it has rust, the window may slip out of the bracket or the metal may eventually expand and catch an edge inside.

You might reinspect the glue and add some extra if in doubt.

Thanks Guys. I'll check out the yards here some more. Looks like any 123 sedan will work. I'll ck the bottom rails out carefully before I get a window.

I've got plenty of glass,, but don't know how well it would make the trip from VA to CO.
