I dare say ---- wheel bearings
Look at it this way a new set is cheap, grease is cheap. The hardest part is getting the races out of the rotors. When I removed my bearings they LOOKED great but they were bad. Any capable mechanic can do the bearings so don't feel like you have to take it to a stealership.

Finally replaced inner and outer bearings today and resolved the noise problem. The inner bearing grease looked pretty dark - not the red grease like in the outer bearing. If this is any indication, the inner bearing may have been the one causing the problem.
I had the NAPA machine shop do the bearing removal and installation. They charge me $10 for one set. But I ended up repacking the inner bearing later as I did not like the black grease they used. I should have brought the red grease I had. The bearing replacement was really very easy to do as I watched them do it. THe inner bearing seal is very easy to remove without damaging it (in case you want to reuse). Just lay the hub/rotor down so the inner bearing faces down. I used a block of wood (small enough to fit inside the hub hole) and tapped the inner bearing all around until the seal was slowly pushed out. I did put a new seal but made the mistake of pounding it in a bit hard and kinda bent the metal part of the seal. Apparently, it does not fit in there too snug so it does not require too much force to pound it in.
