more 124 woes
While looking over my wife's 87 300D (and FINALLY got it started...fixed the vacuum issue), I noticed a tapping sound. It sounds like lifters tapping but these are hydrolic lifters so I don't think that is the issue. I felt the injector lines and I could feel all of them "pulsing"...all except number 6...nearest the firewall. That injector line was "quiet". I think I should be able to feel the fuel pulsing in the injector line. Am I correct?
The connector from the IP to the number 2 line seems to weep clean diesel. Does it sound like an IP rebuild is in the works? I hope not. What is happening w/ line 6? What can I do to keep line 2 from weeping? clint
