Question 300D window regulator

Is there a DIY on replacing the window regulator in a 300D??? Unless I overlooked it I didn;t see one listed...My motor is good, but I can take my hand and slide the window up and down all day long, either I have a gear off or broken on the back side of the regulator, can't get my head in there to see what's going on, so just gonna take the whole regulator/ motor off...

I have spent some quality time reading about this same issue and have the same questions as you. Two of the windows on my wife's car "slide" down a little on their own. If you hit the button to raise them, the window makes a "bump-bump" noise. Wait a little while and they slide down again. I still don't know if this is the motor, regulator, gears, etc. I have been afraid to ask this question given the nubmer of posts in the archives about windows, for fear of someone blowing a gasket and telling me to search the archives.

You guys should really search the archives.... just kidding.

It's usually the regulator that causes the bump, bump sound. It's pretty easy to remove the regulator and the motor as a unit to see what's going on. I don't know if there is a DIY, but its pretty easy once you get into the door.
