ac blower only works when car is in glowplug position?

my ac blows when i click the car to the glowplug position. this is the only time i can get a response from any of the ac/heater controls. when i go to start the car it shuts off and none of the buttons work.
anyone know how to fix this?

When you let the key return to "RUN" position after engaging the starter, does the blower work again? Usually all accessories are cancelled when the key is in the "START" position.

It's possible the electrical portion of your ignition switch is bad. Can you get the fan to work by wiggling the switch back and forth a little when it's running? I had a similar issue on my 300D, the fan would only work if I turned the key slightly back after the car was running. To fix it, I replaced this:

BTW, what year and model is your car?
