Muffler Recommendations?

I'm re-building my exhaust system with 3" pipe and mandrel bent sections,
What type of muffler do you guys recommend that would allow maximum flow, without the obnoxious noise.
I'm looking for a nice rumbly sound and pronounced/obvious turbo noise.

here's what I can aford...a 3" straight thru glass pack muffler it's the only one within my price range......

Also check www.jcwhitney.com

Wait for someone with a PowerStroke or Cummins to upgrade to a 4" or 5" system and get their stocker for cheap.

... stay tuned

The muffler I use is 3" in diameter and about 10' long.

That brings me to another question.

My exhaust now terminates just after the last vertical bend before it joins the middle section of pipe, just under the front passengers feet.
It sounds horrible, but I do love the Turbo spoolups I get

Forced (or Lance), did the loud open down pipe sound get any more subdued after you installed the 3" pipes?

Some audio from inside the car would be cool, to see what it sounds like...

I'm trying to decide whether or not to spend the money on a muffler or resonator...

Resonator, would a resonator take the sharp tones out of the exhaust sound? I don't want to lose that turbo spooling sound

It wasn't any louder, I just shifted the sound from under the passenger seat to the right rear wheel.

I can make a video, but my camera can't quite capture what it really sounds like.

i want to know what it sounds like with a flowmaster or an equivalent muffler. I would do it to my 87 but the nice new shiny exhaust i got for free i feel isnt worth chopping off right now.
