1998 E300TD - Sunroof Quirk ?
 

When I opened my sunroof the other day, I applied constant pressure to the switch. However, the sunroof would continue to stop every two-three seconds. I would have to release the switch and press it again maybe five times to open the sunroof completely. Has anybody else had this problem??? Can it develop to something serious?

Did the vehicle lose power? Mine does that when it cannot get power from the battery or at least enough power to keep the "Memory" alive. Windows do that too. Try going all the way to one end and then the other till it stops and a few seconds more then try do it the usual way again
