I just checked (and cleaned) this line on my 300D.

Checked for proper vacuum with the hand pump (and gage) and then realized that some soot was dripping out of it. Put a rag on one end, and proceided to spray brake cleaner throught it. Two rags later and it's clean. I blew it out with canned-air to remove any cleaner that was left, and reconnected everything. (I also cleaned the Y fitting in the same mannor)

Power is much better, I can accually merge with the flow of traffic now - and shifting has much improved.
