Power Steering Pump Leak
Went to the nearest Benz delearship to-day to buy a seal for the second port ( the lower one) from the top of the pump, and a reservoir cover gasket. Whilst there I asked for a new filter for the pump.
Well, eventually, after using his parts search computer, he said: there is none" This is a Vickers-Sperry #126-460-1680 Type 34 -83 Bar. I recall reading recently that one ought to clean out the resevoir and replace the filter. Question: Is there a filter in the pump and does anyone know the part number for the above model?

Power Steering Pump Filter
Thanks to all for your replies. I phoned Benz headquarters just awhile ago and I am waiting a call back with the official Benz part number from their custopmer service desk. When I get it I'll go back to the Parts Counter Dodo at the nearest dealership who couldn't find it yesterday!
Thanks again fellas. Padraig
