The kickdown switch problem from hell.
 

Hello.I have a 1984 300dt with a non functioning kickdown switch. I replaced the solinoid on the transmission, made sure it worked, made sure it was getting power, made sure that the switch on the floorboard was working, made sure carpet wasnt in the way, replaced the kilma relay (ac works now), adjusted the bowden cable, and adjusted the linkage. still refuses to work and i am out of ideas. can anybody help me?

Oh yeah i replaced all the fuses too.
