722.3 Trans valve body mods
 

A friend recently let me print out about half a reem of All Data pages. Among the TSBs I ran across was an update kit for 300SD transmissions to cure harsh part-throttle shifts. Great, I thought I'll run down to the friendly dealer parts man and order one.

Alas.....no longer a good part number. But I had previously ordered the K1 control piston I read about in the archives. That wasn't in his drawings either but he could order it. Does anone know the part number for the K2 control piston? I'd like to put all the parts of the kit in if I could get them individually but I'd settle for the k2 and B2 controls if I could get them.

Failing that, has anyone tried shimming or grinding the springs to modify the overlap?
