Off Loading a 1982 300D
 

I've got an '82 300D that only drives in reverse. Everything else (engine, etc) is in good shape. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how much to sell it for? The body is great shape to, but I don't feel like parting it out.

Suggestions, anyone?

How doe you know there isn't something really silly wrong with it like a vacuum ;line or linkage or something simple?

San Antonio; and that's why the paint job is so bad. A lot of years out in the South Texas sun! But a great driver until the tranny went out.

-I might fix it but I don't really have the time right now. And it could be something simple but I don't really know much about diesel Mercs. What would you suggest for a tranny that only engages in reverse?

A bigger rearview mirror.
