Ok i know this is kinda off subject, but help is needed
Ok so i need a winter beater, and on craigs list there is this 1990 300E with a bad starter, my question is, is it easy to change out the starter in a 300e? i knmow the starter on my 240D is easy as heck but will the 300D be just as easy??
Sry i know this isnt diesel related but no one in the Tech forum has answered it yet thanks

it should be easier than a diesel cause i wont have the extra brace on the nose that fastens it against the block.
but i would not expect that the starter would be the only thing wrong with it. tom w
