95 E300 fuel leak,

I wonder if I can start the car with the intake manifold off to see where the leak is comming from. Would I get any codes if I do that? Thanx guys. Joe
BTW, the day before that the leak developed is the first time I have put low sulfur diesel in it.....

Joe, did you find your leak? I started to leak a few weeks after I started using the new low sulfer fuel. I started my car with the intake off and the vacuum lines blocked but I still can't find my leak. Any advice????? No code yet. Jay
